What We Collect
To arrange finance we may collect personal information including your name, contact details, identification documents, financial position, and details of assets you wish to finance.
If you submit an insurance enquiry, we also collect your business name, the type and estimated value of the asset, how it will be used, whether you hold existing insurance, and your preferred contact method.
How We Use It
- To assess your finance requirements and arrange quotes and applications with lenders on our panel.
- To verify your identity and comply with legal obligations, including anti-money-laundering laws.
- To communicate with you about your application and, with your consent, our services.
Who We Share It With
We share your information with banks and lenders for the purpose of arranging your finance, and with service providers who assist us in operating our business. We do not sell your personal information.
Where you submit an insurance enquiry, your details are provided to our insurance partner A-Cubed Risk Solutions Pty Ltd, a Corporate Authorised Representative of Metrix Connect Pty Ltd (AFSL 525491), so that they can contact you and arrange insurance quotations. A-Cubed handles your information in accordance with its own privacy policy. AssetFin is a finance broker and does not provide insurance advice. You are asked to consent to this disclosure before submitting an insurance enquiry.
Credit Information
With your consent, we may access your credit report to assess suitable lenders. We structure enquiries to minimise impact on your credit score.
Access & Complaints
You may request access to or correction of your personal information at any time. Complaints can be made to us directly, and if unresolved, to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
